  • Tomakin Club Dances with the Stars

    What an amazing night we had on Saturday the 26th November!!

    Tomakin Club in conjunction with Cancer Council NSW held the night of nights

    With close to 280 people in attendance we held the show not to be missed. Local identities Kasia Currall, Karen Winter, Rachael Rogan, Debbie Pakis, Matt Burgess, Bee Smith, Brett Megee & Greg McDonald partnered up and danced the night away.

    Our guest MC, well-known entertainer, Victoria Haberley impersonated Kim from the hit comedy series Kath and Kim  provided us with lots of fun and laughs.

    We also had special guest judges Kerrie O’Connor, editor of the Bay Post and Moruya Examiner, Graeme Thom, local entertainer and karaoke king and Vicki Mennie, local author and well known community member.

    In between shows we danced the night away with DJ Trevor from TJ Productions.

    We donated $5000 which was raised in October with a Comedy Pig Race day and silent Auction. Keep your eyes open for another night of nights next year!!

     

  • Kids Christmas Party & Kids Toy Raffle

    The Tomakin Sports and Social Club’s annual kids Christmas party was held on Sunday 4th of December.

    As usual it  was an amazing day. The day started at 11:30 with our Mega toy raffle which had 40 prizes with a value of over $4000. Congratulations to all the winners!!

    The children enjoyed the carnival rides which started at 1pm  and then a visit from Santa shortly after.  The glorious sunny day had people enjoying the face painting, ice cream, fairy floss, popcorn and sausage sizzles.

    The rides supplied by Bells Carnival included the Hurricane, Jumping Castles, car rides for the smaller children, the tea cups and more.

    Over $800 was raised for the Moruya Hospital – Thank you.

    Look forward to seeing you all again next year.
